I am looking to upgrade an old az box premium I have and wondering if you all are working on 4k support and 16/32 psk transponders.

I really am looking for something that probably isnt on the market yet, and I hope that it is alot sooner than later. 

Basically the IRD of the future: now.

I think people will be looking for something that outputs in 4k,
Does 4:2:2
Possibly supports Dolby E audio as well
Supports all DVBS & S2 transmissions to include 16 and 32 psk.
And maybe can tune into IP streams over satellite..

Tall order?   That would be one badass receiver.

We are currently working on implementing most of the features you mentioned including 4K support in our upcoming AzBox model.

As well, development is currently underway for an external tuner that will add support for 16 and 32 psk on the AzBox miniMe American Edition now that the firmware we have recently released resolved the large majority of stability issues in previous firmware versions.

Unfortunately, it won't be possible to support 4K on our current miniMe American Edition model as the graphics chipset does not support it.  However, any feature that you mentionned which can be technically implemented will be added in due time.

Hi PwrSurge,
Very interested in a new Azbox model which can do 4k,  4:2:2 and 16apsk/32apsk.   Can you give us any sort of timeline for this model, weeks, months?

As we are still testing out a prototype hardware design which will undergo at least 1 revision, we are still months away from launch and are aiming for year end as an ETA. However, the 16/32PSK tuner addon for the miniMe American Edition will be released beforehand.
